Edward Oliver B Sc (Econ), CPFA, CITP, FRSA, MBCS, Vice President of the Brain Trust, is a management consultant with qualifications in finance, economics and IT.
Eddie spent 15 years as a partner with KPMG, during which time he held a number of senior positions, e.g. Member of the UK Board, Chairman of the Firm’s Consulting Practice and Board Sponsor for Corporate Social Responsibility.
During his time with KPMG, Eddie led many consulting assignments for clients in the private and public sectors. He has expertise in the areas of strategy, organisational development, people development and operational and financial management
Prior to joining KPMG, Eddie was Deputy Chief Executive at the London Docklands Development Corporation (having been promoted to that position from his original post as Director of Finance).
Before that, he spent 18 years in Central and Local Government. Positions held included Assistant Town Clerk for the London Borough of Southwark, Assistant Director of Finance for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Economic Policy Adviser to the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
Eddie Oliver was the Chairman of the Pool of London Partnership, a local regeneration agency for the area of London between Tower Bridge and London Bridge. He also chaired the Strategy Group that steered the preparation of a Strategy and Action Plan for the London South Central area under the Government’s City Growth Strategy programme.
